That would be a hell of a fight. My initial thought was Carl is too small but they look decently matched up in the pic. Frampton isn't as regarded as he was when he got FOTY like 3 years ago but this is still a good fight in terms of action.

Being the same size as Loma is probably considered too small, especially around here. Realistically for a filler fight between now and the Commey / Lopez winner this isn't too bad. Better than a Swedish forklift operator noone has heard of I guess.

I honestly think he gets washed. Bad style match up for Frampton. He's not fast enough to counter Loma and he's too basic without any physical advantages. But you are right it's not a bad filler fight.

Doesn't get me very excited but it's better to stay busy than wait for the IBF title fight. If he's dropping down, why not try to grab a title fight in the meantime instead?
