Walters was running pretty hot before that loss as well, but it's clear that the utter humiliation he took just destroyed him as a fighter. I don't think I've ever seen a fighter's career dismantled so completely and so suddenly over the course of just one fight. He was good too, that's the remarkable part. Who knows, if he'd stayed in there and gone out on his shield he might have been able to salvage his pride and continue his career.Comment
