This is only about their competition at lightweight Think about it. Duran's notable opponents are estaban de Jesus and Buchanan.Mosley's notable opponents holiday, molina and leija

Corrales and Castillo fought each other, mayweather, casamayor, freitas, etc.

    So are they better lightweights?

Well...they didn’t win some of those fights...

Just think of the beating Duran and Mosley would put on Corrales for example

This is solely about who they fought at 135, I'm not saying they would beat duran and Mosley.

      Focus on their lightweight resume.

Well, Corrales and Castillo did fight Floyd and each other among others so they’ve got a good resume if you only count fighters fought. It should be fighters they beat but yeah, you can make the argument. It’s def a better lineup than Shane’s.

Problem is that when there’s one...apex predator (for arguments sake) in the division (Shane and Duran) it’s hard to gauge a lesser fighter’s resume to theirs. Shane and Duran weren’t going to lose half their best fights there and the other fighters don’t look as impressive because we’re comparing them to them.

Compared to each other, Corrales, Castillo, and company are great and fun. But compared to Floyd...not so much.

Do favor them over Shane’s comp though “resume” or name value wise despite them losing. But I wouldnt call them better lightweights than him.

Not sure with Duran since Duran, being an atg and going by the logic, did lose a fight (later avenged). Logically, if someone was there who could beat him..that adds a lot of value for arguments sake

You are very ignorant on boxing both past and present. Duran is considered by the experts as the best lightweight in history. Both Duran and Mosley were better lightweights than Corrales and Castillo and would have knocked them out. Is that dancing chicken your trademark because you put him in every thread.
