      a tall, rangy talented boxer.

I'd say a good comparison would be if Floyd had fought Paul Williams.

All this talk about his SIZE needs to stop. Floyd Mayweather & Manny Pacquiao routinely fought guys better and bigger than Luke Campbell 'Floyd Mayweather was routinely being out weighed by 10-20+ pounds by his opponents on multiple occasions at 147 pounds'

What was the difference between Floyd Mayweather & Oscar De La Hoya or Canelo? It cannot be much more than the weight difference between Lomachanko & Alvarez etc

Lomachenko is completely and utterly overrated technically, he was just ducking into punches against Luke Campbell 'I am not sure how any boxing expert can claim that he is more technically gifted than Mayweather'

I honestly do not think Lomachenko is on the level of the most recent great fighters such as Roy Jones Junior, Bernard Hopkins, Floyd Mayweather & Manny Pacquiao etc

'I can vividly see this just by watching his fights, but there seems to be a social campaign within the boxing community where people within the sports 'Keep repeating that he is number 1, probably to condition the viewers' Andre Ward seems to be the only boxing expert immune to such behavior'.
Who was Floyd fighting that was twenty pounds heavier?

Nobody. Floyd always had a hydration clause in his back pocket.

Either of his final two lightweight defences.

Campbell would easily beat Sosa or Ndou.

They try so hard to discredit floyd for fighting berto yet casually forget that he was 38, just beat up manny pacquiao, and was his last professional fight.

                  The answer is nobody.

Even if he fought guys taller than himself one place he never conceded was his reach. Floyd didnt have a ton of power but enough people respected it. Tough to have an opponent like Luke Campbell when hes always be longer than his opponents and the only place he wasnt was at 154.

Zab Judah, slick lefty with a 72" reach. Zab had some early success from the outside but Floyd took the fight inside and Zab folded.
Oscar, years past his prime but still strong and also might have been the only guy with a longer reach than Floyd. Oscar probably won the early part of the fight, but tired and stopped jabbing in the second half as Floyd outworked him.

So you're saying maybe Berto wasn't that good, but Floyd was 38, so he gets a pass for not fighting someone better.
