Bumchenko clearly wants the under-experienced kid, as oppose to the season prime champion in Richard Commey. This does not surprise me, its been this way since Bumchenko beat a green Gary Russel jr. at Featherweight in a undeserved opportunity at the WBO despite taking a loss to the former owner Salidoe, but I digress.
Gary Russell Jr was green? You know that was Lomas 3rd pro fight right? So what does that make him

But didn’t that linear champ that dropped Loma get stopped in the first rd in his very next fight by a journeymen.

Not really because he fought in the world boxing series which is basically a pro format.

wow so loma was picking on a green russell jr while hiding all his pro experience. the poor lad was tricked. everyone told him that he was fighting a bum that had just lost to journeyman salido.

Will the WBC do him another favor and undermine another top contender to give Bumchenko a shot at the WBC 130 pound strap? Will the IBF, WBA, WBO also do that? Or do you belief Tevin Farmer will give Bumchenko a shot? What about the WBO champ Jamel Herring? or Miguel Berchelt.

How long does this campaign take buddy? IN YOUR DREAMS PAL!
WBO easily will make him a mandatory to Herring if Loma goes to 130, WBC is probably too, Sulaiman knows where the money at

Cambell and Nakatani have the same reach - 71

very nature of the shoulder roll means its not as effective vs taller fighters who can land the overhand right over the shoulder

the japanese fighter in lopez's last fight was tall

                      commey isnt

but commey has very good technique

lopez is more raw but his handspeed is greater and i think he takes a slightly better shot

i slightly edge lopez by ko
