Loma is officially over the hill/washed up. beating him now means nothing

Loma didn't go through the bum phase all pros go through. its been nothing but title fights nonstop.

a lot of wear and tear on his body.

and this is what clowns like tank were waiting for. some signs of slippage.

    Loma losing now means nothing.

He's not the fighter he once was, for sure, but he can still beat anyone up to and including 140.

He is way too small for 140. He had extreme trouble with Campbell and Linares at 35, who muscled him around. Prograis and Ramirez would decapitate Loma at 140. Tank can wait his turn. Lopez-Loma for undisputed is the fight to make now for undisputed!

he always was. why do you think Mikey decided to drop titles and keep chasing his greatness using other road. Gervonta dont want to waste his time in the ring with LOma either, he is being nice enough to mention him online. and Lopez ko machine, dont need him either. dude is a real man, first family problems - then may be he will show Loma proper boxing lesson, in few years.

        Loma never was an attraction

Washed up? I’m not seeing it. His performance last night was not typical Loma likely because he was in there with another southpaw, which forced him to move left instead of right where he is more effective. He still beat a very game, bigger opponent and former gold medalist with relative ease.

So you're saying the Gervonta fella would rather just continue fighting cans.
            I see.

He's planting his feet more and throwing harder but I think he still looks sharp, just had a slight style adjustment and gained a bit of muscle. Campbell negated some of Loma's signature pivots with his own footwork and range management too

I agree Loma is too small for 140. He says his perfect fighting weight is 130 and he should know. But to say he had extreme trouble with Campbell is ridiculous. He won by 119 to 108. That's a lopsided slaughter. How could he have had extreme trouble with Campbell and beat him by 119 to 106???????

What a short prime he had. Shame it got wasted fighting the Crollas of the world so we could never truly gauge how good he really was.

Campbell was hitting him flush early on and to the body all night. He even got hit with an uppercut that had his legs flutter in the middle rounds and had him tying up. Campbell obviously won more than a round in that fight. It was a tough fight in there and very taxing on Loma.
