Why is Showtime no longer covers Matchroom fights?

Has the feud betweem Espinoza and Hearn become personal?
Showtime sent the entire commentating team in the UK in the Chisora vs Whyte fight, if I remember correctly.

Well DAZN have first refusal, so either they haven’t turned down any fights recently or there hasn’t been any that Showtime wanted to pick up that DAZN didn’t want

Chisora vs Whyte wasn't on DAZN.

Because DAZN didn’t want the fight at the time, I think that month they already pumped enough money into the Canelo v Fielding fight and didn’t wanna pay for the rights of a British domestic fight

As I said, DAZN get first refusal and if they don’t want it, then other networks can pick it up like Showtime did

but there hasn’t been any cards that they felt was worth paying for since then, or DAZN have broadcasted most

Because Eddie won't allow Showtime to bid on his fights. The reason Chisora vs. Whyte was on Showtime was because Chisora demanded the fight to be put up for an open bid. His other fighters don't have a say like Whyte because they don't have the same deal.

You are absolutely right, DAZN had first refusal on that fight. They passed on it, Showtime wanted to pick it up, Hearn doesn’t really stand in the way. More money for his boxers, more exposure for his show. Win win situation for him. The good thing is Whyte isn’t signed to Matchroom so he can always bounce.

Showtime have to be very picky with what they show nowadays, if not they might go the same way as HBO.

Whyte said he asked Hearn if he was signed to DAZN. Hearn said no. Whyte said why is all this DAZN swag at my press conference. Then he told Hearn to put the fight up for bid. DAZN didn't pass. They got outbid

Man I miss HBO boxing they should've been running boxing if they just stayed with it and made better business decisions

Eddie has ruined every US network relationship.

When dazn goes down so does Hearn in USA.

Guy has burnt so many bridges.
