I have a feeling Baldomir will see Hatton as the more winnable fight (the other option being Mayweather of course) and he will take his tour to England to continue fighting in people's backyards. In England, we'll see a barnburner for a few rounds, but Hatton will take over and begin to dominate, stealing the Welterweight Championship while Mayweather is still looking for an opponent. Just a hunch.
Baldomir is gonna go across the pond next

Eh...the fight is a possibility, but I'm not sure if that would happen. Hatton basially lost it when he wasn't doing well against Collazo...I watched the fight go out of him. Then he started to get hurt. If Collazo can hurt Hatton, Baldy has a good shot at it, too, and to Hatton can't hurt Baldomir. We saw the difficulty he had at 147...not the Hatton that created a fan base. If you ask me, I think Hatton drops back down in weight and muddles around there for awhile before thinking about Welter again. We'll see. -
I see Hatton fighting a guy at 140 next, whether he's in the 140 division, or whether he's fighting a different smaller fighter coming up in weight...
That excludes Baldomir - and I don't think the potential money is good enough unless HBO really wants to push it...Comment

i think mayweather will try to get to him before hatton does. the fact is mayweather needs an opponent for november, and he can pick up a couple of belts and call himself the man at 147 for beating baldomir. baldy might make more money against mayweather than hatton, but you never know.Comment

Goddammit Diego I pray that you're right on this one.Originally posted by DiegoFuegoI have a feeling Baldomir will see Hatton as the more winnable fight (the other option being Mayweather of course) and he will take his tour to England to continue fighting in people's backyards. I hope Baldomir fights Hatton next instead of PBF. I just wonder how PBF will look like and feel if will Baldomir snubs his sorry ass.

I thought I had read about it, and I had, the WBA ordered Hatton to fight his mandatory, Oktay Urkal. Word from the Hatton camp is that Ricky wants to keep his belt, so he'll be taking that fight next. A few websites, whether they are jumping the gun or not, have a December 9th date up as the date for that coming fight. That would prohibit him from fighting anyone else for the rest of the year and leave Baldy on this side of the pond, ripe to be picked by Mayweather.Comment
