Loma with them short arms and bad shoulder still got the job done

Imagine if he was just a little longer and taller, he would be obliterating people sooner, not just breaking them down in the later rounds

Another Masterclass for the pound for pound king

I did win 40K epoints though.

Here's the thing. Weight divisions exist for a reason. I don't care who's impressed or not, but Loma is beating larger men. It's like giving a runner a head start in a race. Not many people can do that and still win.
Anybody know the purses for this fight ?

      Loma just doing his thing
If people can’t appreciate what he is doing then not really boxing fans
I disliked fughin Floyd the man but as a boxer he was phenomenal

Those scorecards were garbage i had it much closer then that. Loma pulled it off but he got beat up in there. Good victory but I do think loma will taste defeat soon. He's taking damage at lightweight & lt welterweight would be even worse

Well when Loma was fighting guys closer to his natural weight when he slightly taller and longer than most opponents they said he was too big for the weight and needed to move up lol

The ref's got it totally right in their scoring. Campbell was game, but the fight wasn't close at all.
People have no clue how to score a fight. This was an easy fight to score for like 9/10 rounds and maybe 2/3 rounds were closer. I had exactly the same score round by round as boxing scene scorecard. It's really not that difficult. 2 of the rounds i gave to Campbell were close but he maybe just swung them in his favor. Round 1 was clearly his as he landed like 4 punches to 1 as Loma was just feeling him out. Having said that - Campbell was competitive in every round except the 11th.

I think Ward and Bradley are just staying on point - trying to maintain the interest of the casuals. It's like the commentating equivalent of a click bait headline.

Loma should be in 130 lbs its his natural weight class. Just comparing him with Luke Campbell, there is a huge size difference. Loma is special P4P !

If you found it possible to give Campbell more than 3 rounds you have to be either smoking crack or you were buying into the BS Ward and Bradley were telling you when in reality they are just trying to be company men and make the fight seem interesting to keep the US audience tuned in to an otherwise EH type of fight.

That's why just before the 11th round they flipped on a dime and starting saying Campbell needed to go for it basically saying he needed a KO at that point. He didn't need a KO if the fight was really that close.

I thought Campbell won a lot of rounds by being the aggressor, jabbing, and staying off the ropes. He easily won four or five rounds that way, but the judges seemed to only look at the 30 seconds in those rounds where Loma landed a stronger punch or had a flurry on the ropes.

It seemed to me that Loma was waiting for Campbell to tire and stop coming forward, which only happened in the championship rounds. Pretty lopsided scoring.

Some bad scorecards! Clearly Lom won but those judges must have hated Luke because he made this a very tough fight with his height, reach and skills. 135 is tops for Lom.
