One of the best parts about Floyd was his own unique style. How many other fighters are known for having a lead right hand as their best punch? His reflexes let him fight the way he did. I’m glad his style is the opposite of universal.

Same thing with GGG. They act like every month that goes by equals 7 years when Canelo is talked about. Yet look GREAT when fight other boxers.

I call it the “Cinderella Effect”. Fighters turn into Pumpkins when signed up to fight Canelo and then Poof! Turn back to normal when fighting anyone else...

Kovalevs body language isn’t great, which can only make winning a decision harder as if he needs that. I’d be very impressed if there’s enough punches in this fight for either to stop the other.
Canelo is a COMPLETELY different fighter now. You used to move like he was in quicksand. His footwork was terrible and you are CORRECT! He had to reset his stance every time. Now look at him??? His head movement is insane! Almost ALL his combos involve at least one body punch. I don’t even think he’s done learning yet.

GGG's fan base has took a massive downsizing since he challenged Nelo to a Mexican standoff

Quasimodo didn't know he had a twin

Im merely saying, would it have been better to do a fight with his catchweight opponents at full 160? To me that would be worse, granted you can say he shouldn't fight anyone "smaller"(most warent actually smaller except to gain an advantage they fought lower weights like Con because they are garbage vs their own size),but hes been able to become a much bigger star & accomplish a much greater resume by fighting every named fighter he can around his weightclasses with Catchweights,& you have fighters like ggg who decry this practice but end up dragging them up to full 160 instead & Vs rolls he did a catchweight higher than 160 which meant rolls was at a disadvantage because of it; & then they cry that they deserve half the purse even though they haven't sacrificed by making concessions to become a star because fighters like ggg claimed for years that cws are a disgrace & like every other entitled modern fighter he never became a draw because he ducked outta sacrificing anything to make fights.

I think u said it all. His head movement has really impressed me also. He seems to add that one extra punch to his combos. I know Canelo is a superstar for lots of reasons but he’s not overrated in the ring. I think after the first ggg fight Canelo knew he could do even better. He starts fast so I don’t mind when he uses sum later rounds to recover, and then come on strong again. He’s great against the ropes. He has great body language. I think he’s too consistent for Kovalev. I saw ggg regress at the same time I saw Nelo improve.
