I mean, I'm happy to have boxing stars from my area and stuff, but I can't really say that influences my fandom. I hope Tank does well and everything, but I'm not really a big fan. He's fun to watch and I wish he would fight more. I think the Farmer fight will happen soon. I also don't think they have to rush him into big fights or PPV level. He's way younger than Loma and most of those guys. Who was Wilder fighting after 20 fights ?
Fans talk smack, but the truth is maybe Tank is not ready to face elite champions yet. If he doesn't take on Farmer next, there must be a reason. You can call it 'ducking', but others might see it as 'career management'. Of course we want to see the best fights, so fans are gonna chirp and whatnot.
