If AJ wins, yes. Not worth discussing until that happens.
Should there be an AJ-Ruiz trilogy fight?

I always feel like there should be, because the whole point is for that A-side boxer to have one over their opponents, not to be 1-1 with that boxer. So especially with Fury and Wilder mapping out their own careers without wanting Joshua for now. He can always do a trilogy with Ruiz.
I however doubt that would ever happen, for one I would be shocked if any Hearn promoted boxer ever gives a PBC boxer a chance, and secondly mandatories are due for one or two of the belts.Comment

Boxing politics will prevent a third fight.
If Ruiz wins Haymon will only make in house fights with his PBC guys.
If AJ wins there’s no rematch clause, at least not reported, so he’ll take his belts back and move on.
The only reason a rematch is happening is Ruiz had no choice but to sign whatever Hearn put in front of him to get the fight as a last minute replacement. Haymon didn’t think he would win so he didn’t care.Comment
