No. Doing what is best for the division is the right thing to do. Doing what is easiest for Manny is not part of the equation.

Porter/Spence are fighting next. Manny should fight the winner after given the network politics. In a perfect world, we'd have a semi final matchup of Porter/Spence and Manny/Crawford with the winners fighting.

Floyd has nothing to do with this discussion.

In order to unify the division, any of the ww's should have to beat 2 of the other titleholders. No one is asking Manny to beat them all so there is no need for you to lie.

I gave 2 scenarios. In one, Manny fight the winner of Porter/Spence, without fighting anyone before, and then the winner fights Crawford. In the other he fights Crawford because Manny is seen as the #3 ww and Crawford #2 and the winner fights the winner of Spence (#1)/Porter (#4).

How did you come up that spence is #1, crawford #2, and Manny is only #3. Who did spence beat to become #1 ?

It can work like that in any division. The only time it doesn't work like this is if one of the fighters has the ability to earn big bucks by not taking on the best competition.

Manny would more likely fight Porter, who already beat Danny. The Porter-Spence winner deserves the shot more than Danny coming off a win against a journeyman gatekeeper.

Its so not, Manny just beat Thurman and he talks about all the biggest names, off course they all want Manny just the same as they all want Floyd, its totally about posturing and name value on the path trying to get winnable fights for the right money along the way to their reaching full potential as a career fighter, none of them fear another fighter, who they fight is always calculated as risk vs reward.

Jeff Horn took the TC fight because he had no choice, stay in the shadows or take a crack against another elite, in the least a solid showing gets him more exposure, there are a 1000 guys that would fight TC, guys with nothing to lose and all to gain.

Ive never known a genuine elite fighter to fear opponents, they respect them and understand the consequences of fighting better guys and how it effects their careers, its their profession they dont fear it, their managers and match makers fear it because they want to milk every step to its fullest.
