I scored the fight as 10:2 for Baldomir. I though Jugah won 2-3 rounds at most.

Id like to see Baldomir win, i dont like floyd. But your point is very true, Floyd is a better fighter than Judah, and he has ten times the mental toughness that Judah has.

Yes, I implore you to rewatch the Judah-Baldomir fight, Nautilus it was much, much closer than that. Judah dominated Baldomir until the later rounds...maybe you didn't get a chance to see it or forgot? I just looked up the official scores:

Judge: Guido Cavalleri 115-113 | Judge: Melvina Lathan 115-112 | Judge: Julie Lederman 114-113

So...Baldomir won by 2-3 rounds max...though I believe one of the rounds was probably a 10-8 for Baldy for hurting Judah and making him run...so...I would have to say Baldomir didn't win by more than a round or two. Close fight.

That said, does Carlos Baldomir have a chance against Floyd? Well, he is slow, and flawed- but on his side is the fact that Mayweather will not be able to hurt him. Not in the least. Baldomir can keep coming forward and there's a better chance of Floyd breaking his hand on Baldy's face than hurting the guy. Still, it very well might be just like the drumming Gatti got. They both had the power to hypothetically hurt Floyd, but not the speed. You need speed to get past his defense...BUT we have yet to see Floyd try and respond to constant pressure for 12 rounds against a big welterweight. Same scenario that people predict would cause Margarito to win.

It wouldnt be close. Baldomir is tough, durable, etc. This is a huge advantage when going against someone with a brawler mentality like Gatti, not a pure boxer like Mayweather. Floyd would take him apart.

Agreed. This would be more of PBF-JLC 2.

These scores are all bull**** --- I was posting my commentaries on that fight -- and I said from round 1 that Baldi was beating up Judah. The ****** commentators kept talking how Judah was "dominating", while getting his ass kicked. They finally stopped the bull**** when it became obvious that Judah was losing badly. Judges scored many rounds for Judah because Baldy was a huge underdog in this fight.

Shut off the sound and watch the fight again. I implore you.
