i think baldy has a chance if he doesnt box him like frikin gatti was trying to (f**king Mgirt )..anyway he just has to go in there and go for it/throw everything he has,but yeah eventho its a small chance,he has one none the less. But f**k it..as mosley would say, fight margarito if he (pbf) saids it would be so easy-lets see if u can make an easy 8mil.

Baldomir has no chance whatsoever. Notice how the people saying he has a chance are the same ones saying Baldomir looked good against Gatti and that Baldomir "dominated" Judah, despite Mayweather winning by much wider margins. Look at it this way: the first 6 rounds of Baldomir vs. Judah, NOTHING HAPPENED AT ALL. Judah outboxed him but not by much. You could hardly tell a fight was going on. The first four rounds of Mayweather-Judah were exciting because Judah was fighting even though Floyd wasn't. As soon as Mayweather started fighting the very next round, it was a complete domination. He had Judah busted up and bleeding from his nose and his mouth WITHIN ONE ROUND OF PUNCHING JUDAH. Baldomir had Judah rocked by one big right hand, and Judah ran the rest of the fight. If you think Baldomir looked good against Gatti, you obviously have very low standards of what "good" is. Most people with trained boxing eyes can see that Baldomir would not win a single fight if his chin wasn't granite and he had some fear in him. His form is horrendous, he leaves himself open to get nailed. His only defense is throwing right hands, lol. I guarantee you this man wins no rounds against Mayweather except of course the ones Floyd lets him have.

they're still really good friends. the whole fight was a big hoax. Mayweather wouldn't have fought him if they weren't best friends. He just wanted them both to make some money because he knew Judah was finished after it was over.

Baldomir didn't come close to dominating Judah. He lost the first six rounds of that fight so I don't see how that is dominating.

Mayweather dominated Gatti far worst than Baldomir did.

Baldomir would look very ****** against Mayweather. Baldomir will do his chin tapping thing he always does and Mayweather will tee off on him all night.

Mayweather would simply pot shot the slow ass Baldo from the outside all night long. This fight would look similar to Mayeather/Goyo Vargas. I dont know if Mayweather could take him out though, he could carry him to a decision.

Thought i agree with the baldy having almost no chance i think your wrong, the reason most people are saying (on many sites) that he has a chance from the gatti fight performance is not cuz he looked good,i mean i love gatti but i know he nothing impressive,-the reason is because baldy took hard shot on the chin and body and didnt go down from that and didnt back off when hit. Basically its a showing that floyd cant even hurt tis guy a lil and doesnt have anything to hold him back so does he have a chance to catch him ala mayorga/forrest yes,but its unlikely---just saying most people arent saying he looked good against gatti so he can beat floyd...there just saying this man cant be ko'ed or hirt hard enough to be backed up so if he comes in maybe( a big maybe) he can catch floyd. I have herd of baldy beating very quick man in the last 7 years, but havent seen it...anyway just saying why baldy has a chance in some ppl's eyes..and he is likeable to.

i'd think baldomir has an alright chance at beating mayweather. i mean, stranger things have happened. and this is boxing, one of, if not the most unpredictable sport.

                      just a few random thoughts.....
when mayweather decided to fight judah, i don't think i would've been impressed no matter what had happened - unless judah KO'd pbf. and fighting gatti wasn't necessarily a fight i wanted to see either. just a bad style match up there. pbf had a rougher time with n'dou than with gatti. same goes with mitchell. sharmba wasn't exactly considered a hot prospect after tszyu burned him. sharmba went on to have one fight before fighting pbf - i looked it up to see that it was a technical decision over chris "the mechanic" smith. at least, i believe that's his nickname.

baldomir vs mayweather jr is one of the fights i'd like to see even though carlos isn't nearly as fast or as technically sound. baldomir does seem to have a decent beard on him as well as an alright punch. i particularly love the angles he enters at and the energy he brings. he's pretty solid/consistant throughout the whole fight.

i think we are all clamoring for a showdown between pbf and margarito. mayweather needs to step up and fight some comp. margarito may just give him a run for the king of welterweight.

i suppose a fight with hatton and pbf would be fun to watch. that would be a huge PPV draw if televised in both ricky's home and in the U.S. people who want to see ricky lose, will get a kick out of it as mayweather jr would at least be a hell of a test for him - to say the very least. and the pro hatton guys would be absolutely OC if hatton managed to pull off a win. personally, i don't think hatton would be willing to fight pbf. but, in boxing, you just never know.
