PBC even had some shoulder programming for this "world title" fight and is trying to make Figueroa into a star. This is a total flop. Google Trends had this fight at 198th place on their realtime chart. The Kovalev fight which was in the morning and on ESPN+ was able to make it into the top 10 and the Estrada fight which was also a mismatch was also significantly higher than PBC. FS1 can't even manage to get Fury-Schwarz Prelim numbers. FS1 is the real dead zone.Comment

You dont really understand how subscription services work. People don't pay for a particular card. It''s either for a month or for a year.
If you really like boxing, there is no reason for not paying the 99$ for a year, because you already get two canelo fights which under past circumstances would have cost more than that.
If you still dont think it's good value for the money, you probably will never be convinced, because you are 1) a pbc fanboy (see oldskoolg), which is ******
and/or 2) someone who cant adapt to new technology (see oldskoolg).
and/or 3) too cheap, but then you should also complain about the flood of PPVs currently.Comment

Haha if FS1's viewership is a desert then what is DAZN's? Based on google trends, Brandon Figueroa got more attention fighting on FS1 than Juan Francisco Estrada did on DAZN.

And yet Bellator was higher on Nielsen's social content ratings charts despite having even fewer viewers than FS1.

You're only seeing what you want to see and using the data which fits your narrative.
The Estrada fight was ranked much higher on the Google Trends realtime trends chart which is a more accurate representation of live viewership. The Estrada fight wasn't even in the US so it makes sense there wasn't as much buzz, but realtime interest was still much higher for that fight. Another chart that doesn't fit your narrative is this one: https://trends.google.com/trends/exp...ker%20figueroa
When you remove the ambiguety due to their common names and search for their nicknames "Gallito Estrada" has a lot more interest than "Heartbreaker Figueroa".Comment

First of all, that's Bellator on Paramount which is a TV channel. Not Bellator on DAZN. Try again idiot. Second of all, you inserted their nicknames "gallito estrada" and "heartbreaker figueroa" to skew the results. When you insert their actual names, "Brandon Figueroa" and "Juan Francisco Estrada" then you'd see that Figueroa got the higher interest score which means he got more attention fighting on FS1 than Estrada did fighting on DAZN. In this screenshot, I included Estrada's nicknames to the searches just like you did but on the August 24th date, the day they both fought, you can still see that Figueroa dwarfs Estrada when it comes to attention garnered. And yet Bellator was higher on Nielsen's social content ratings charts despite having even fewer viewers than FS1.

So my question to you again; If FS1's viewership is a desert, then what does that make DAZN's? Since a relatively unknown prospect in Figueroa was viewed by more people than the supposed P4P Estrada.Comment
