How is this even a question? Presumably literally anyone would prefer to pay less for the same fight, thus making the answer obvious (whether that's forking other a recurring modest monthly subscription fee like a normal human being who isn't forced to choose between that and food, or doing silly one-off subscribe-and-cancel nonsense like a twelve year old carefully allocating their allowance, lol)...

    and yet...boxingscene!

When did I cry? 🤣 tank and farmer aren’t ppv fighters. Neither are Errol and Porter. It’s a greedy cash grab. If da homies are gonna get together I will order it. If not I go to dubs and see it free. Why reward these guys for fake fake Ppvs.

Like a few posts back the dude said anyone who prefers it on ppv over DAZN is either a liar a tard or an emotional female with an agenda. He got it right

PBCtards can afford 4-6 yearly PPVs but can't afford a decent internet connection?

Different ways to measure it. I suppose you're referring to PPV revenue, which DAZN, as a subscriptions service, doesn't collect.

We don't have the numbers, but I'd be shocked if (1) the gate for Joshua/Ruiz I wasn't larger, (2) the viewership, official and unofficial, of Joshua/Ruiz I wasn't larger, and (3) the fighter purses for Joshua/Ruiz I weren't larger.

And that's without mentioning the impact and coverage given to both fights after the fact.

Right? If your connection qualifies as "first world", which is not a strenuous requirement, there should be no issue whatsoever with the streams. Being dependent on McDonald's wi-fi could be a hurdle, I suppose. Or not not owning a single device capable of receiving the stream. In 2019. (How are you accessing NSB? The public library)?

There is NO way in America was Joshua/Ruiz nearly as big as Pacquiao/Thurman. Viewership numbers? I mean a peak of 700k watched Canelo/Jacobs. I doubt Joshua/Ruiz got nearly the amount of viewers as Canelo/Jacobs here. And doing 500k PPV buys>>700k viewers on DAZN.

Fighter purses? I mean Joshua was going to get the Sky Box Office money and was still going to do over 700k PPV buys even with the fight being at 4 am.

Let's not get this twisted now, Joshua vs Ruiz was just another fight here. The odds were 11 to 1 going in and it was seen as an mismatch. That fight was not bigger than Pacquiao/Thurman.

                  lol, great comment.

Watching via an app does allow for a lot of features a standard broadcast doesn't though like alternative commentary streams.

With the money dazn are throwing around you'd think they could have a couple commentary choices, couldn't they pick up some of the HBO talent? I can't get dazn so not really sure who they have.
