  • How Scared is AJ of Las Vegas?

Two years ago, Joshua said "Vegas, it is the Mecca of boxing" leading up to the Klitschko rematch.

Fast forward and now Joshua would rather have the fight IN MECCA than the actual mecca of boxing

I hope Ruiz gets a fair fight with no weird stuff from the referee. If the fight is fair with no BS I pick Ruiz to win by KO again.

there isn't an iceberg's chance in hell of that happening and you and i know it. it's just going to be a matter of andy being able to overcome the shenanigans and knock out again the guy he just beat up and stopped.

he loses on the cards, if he's even wobbling he will get stopped, expect his hotel to have a fire alarm at 4 oclock in the morning, etc.

Guys making $30 million plus fighting in the UK, NYC, and SA. Vegas doesn’t do much for him currently.
I’m sure he will fight there eventually.

No? Heavyweight Championship of the World where the champ is the first ever Mexican champion and being held in Vegas isn't going to make any coin?

I don’t think he’ll be going back to New York anytime soon. That was one and done. He had his fingers burned badly and will want to fight where everything’s in his favour.

Money obviously means far more to him than “legacy”.
