The unbeaten interim 122-pound titlist registered his first successful defense, stopping Argentina's Javier Chacon in four rounds atop a Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on FS1 telecast Saturday evening in Edinburg, Texas. The bout was staged mere miles from Figueroa's Weslaco hometown, marking his third fight of the year and all with title implications at stake.
