Yes he agreed but most fighters do.
The fight was actually very close so I fail to see how Salidoe is his "Daddy". He also avoided the rematch.Comment

his daddy cuz its his only loss haha (only the loma stans get mad at that one haha)
and no he didnt.... he wanted more money from top rank which they only offered him like I think was 700k or so... and he also lost to that roman dude as well so that didnt help either of them for the rematch

Lomachenko Manager: What Good Would Salido Rematch Do For Us?
OXON HILL, Maryland – Maybe a rematch with Orlando Salido doesn’t mean as much to Vasyl Lomachenko as it once seemed. Lomachenko’s manager wants the Ukrainian star to move up from 130 pounds to 135 for his next fight. Egis Klimas mentioned fighting WBO world lightweight champion Terry Flanagan (33-0, 13 KOs) as Lomachenko’s possible next move, with an eye on an eventual lightweight championship showdown with WBC champ Mikey Garcia (36-0, 30 KOs).

Lomachenko: Salido is a Step Back, But If The Promoters Agree...
WBO super featherweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko (8-1, 6 KOs) is not overly interested in a rematch with Orlando Salido (43-13-4, 30 KOs). Salido is the only fighter to hold a victory over the two-time Olympic gold medal winner. In his second pro fight, Lomachenko lost a controversial twelve round split decision to Salido in March of 2014.
just sayin

Lomanchenko will put that fool Gervonta Davis up on spark, like match a lighted match on gasoline. Easy work.Loma is an overrated Top Rank fighter that lost to a journeyman with 11 losses and got dropped by a basic straight right.
And this is the dude these guys say is a legend. Lmao!! Does he even have 20 professional fights. Don't worry Loma if you step in the ring with Gervonta Davis you will be hunting and fishing quicker than you think. LolComment

Not too much big game out there for him if he becomes undisputed, unless guys like Berchelt and Tank wanna move up to take a shot at him. Devin Haney would be interesting, but Loma doesn't need that fight. Don't see it happening unless Devin becomes his mandatory and Loma is intent on staying undisputed.
And of course there is always Mikey Garcia ...Comment
