Monster Inoue is one of the few active fighters who could do that.

Idk what his endgame will be, but he has potential to be 5-division champion.

Inoue DID do it. Went from light flyweight champion to super flyweight champion in one fight. Skipped flyweight entirely.

Canelo is daring to be great
Henry Armstrong but you probably never heard of him you ignoramus. Henry Armstrong held the featherweight title, the lightweight title and the welterweight tittle at the same time, Then he tried to win the middleweight title but had to settle for a draw. That is going from 126 to 160 in a short time. That is jumping up 6 of today's weight classes. That was in the days of one champion per weight class so he could not pick the easiest champ to beat like Canelo does. Duran won world titles at 135, 147, 154 and 160 but I guess you never heard of Duran either. Hearns won world titles at 147,154, 160, 168 and 175 so that's 5 different weights. Canelo is at 3 now if you count beating pretend champion Fielding. Trinidad won world titles at 147, 154 and 160. De La Hoya won world titles at 130, 135, 140, 147 154 and 160 so that's 6 weight classes although the 160 title was BS because he really lost but got a gift win just like Canelo sometimes does. There are a few dozen more multiweight champs I could name but that's enough for now. Most of those guys went after the best champ at the weight not the easiest won like Canelo does. It would be much more impressive for Canelo to fight the top middleweights. Asking him to fight GGG again is asking too much of course but he sure could and should be fighting Andrade and Jermall. If he goes to 175 then fight the young unbeaten champs not just Kovalev. If he wants to claim a title at 168 then fight the real champ Callum Smith and not Fielding who Smith had already KOed in two rounds before Canelo fought him.

Resume fight. He would have world titles from 147-175. Just adding on to an already impressive resume and he’s not even 30 yet.

              Canelo?

He didn’t win a welterweight title, unless you’re meaning someone else

What are you talking about. Canelo already fought at 168 so he is only jumping up 7 pounds if you want to call 7 pounds a jump. Canelo said he would only fight Kovalev at 175 and not any of the young undefeated champs. Ask yourself why that is? If Canelo is as fearless as you make him out to be then why not be willing to fight the best 175 pound champs? Lots of other multi weight champs went after the best champion not the worst one. Kovalev is ready to be beaten and that's why Canelo wants him only at 175. Canelo is a 4 to 1 favorite to beat Kovalev so that fight is not this incredibly brave, risky fight for him you are saying it is.
