When he stepped up in competition and blamed family issues for his performance, and the mandatory was made soon after, I knew they were just picking on him! He's probably not gonna accept the call he was begging for...he also won't be calling out Loma for awhile either. The most dangerous part about stepping up is you center the world of fighters with decent to stellar Ring IQ. All previous competition are really just professional street fighters with gloves. Loma & Commey would hugely shorten his potential as a star rn.

I don't know but as soon as Loma called his bluff out, he has been quiet.

I think it has more to do with his relatively poor performance in his last fight. His air of invincibility has come into question, and he’s likely questioning if he’s ready for a guy like lomachenko. He probably believes keeping quiet is the best approach for the time being.

Ajagba and Hrgovic are young and can still develop into much better fighters. Joyce is supposed to beat them both atm but I'm still not even sure he does.
