From the quote, it sounds like Golovkin is planning on Murata next. I've been wanting to see this one for a long time; really excited that it might be happening.

I wonder if they anticipate a big enough crowd to have the fight at Tokyo Dome. Last boxing match there was, I believe, Mike Tyson vs Buster Douglas in 1990.

Of course you would cuz you don't want to see Pvssy-G get smacked by Jermall or Boo Boo.

This is the primary sticking point for GGG career. Who are these very good opponents that he KOd? You seem to be thr one telling yourself what you need to hear. Yes GGG is/was talented. Yes he did beat everyone put in front of him before Alvarez. Was he "great". No. He chose chasing a money fight vs Alvarez or Cotto over greatness. He didn't unify all the belts with BJS because he wanted to keep the KO streak and not risk losing to a mover spoiler. He didn't move up and fight Ward even at the catchweight. He didn't move down for the 154 top guys or fight them at a catchweight. His entire reign as the top middleweight was centered around fighting Alvarez or Cotto then ultimately Alvarez. That's not greatness to me. Its smart and has worked for him, but you don't get credit for what people wanna believe you woulda done if you fought other top guys.

Lol man...I mean I would say running through Monroe Murray Macklin Lemieux Proksa Rosado Ishida Ouma Brook Stevens Rubio Adama Geale Rolls Vanes...hardly losing a round and showing no issues...all by KO is a very good run...individually he should win all of those, but most guys taking on 15 good fighters like that, they would have had a hiccup imo...G never did and never really had any issues in any of the fights.

To your other stuff about the money fights and BJS and Ward and 154...I mean I just think you are very one sided with all of that stuff...you seem intent on trying to make GGG out to be less than by any means possible...I just don't really think that is a neutral take on the situations there but if that's how you want to see it I won't try and change your mind.

That would be absolutely massive in Japan, Murata is a better than everyone Charlo or Andrade has faced.

Why Dont Charlo and Andrade just fight each other? Seriously, that would force some of the others fighters hands. However you will never hear that, from them.

Cuz when they meet it will be a real fight so in the mean time they trying to weed out the fakes like Pvssy-G 1st or get the Nelo payday, which ever comes 1st.

I would watch it, that's a good fight. Murata seems more experienced than Charlo and Andrade. Charlo stuck with PBC.

Why watch fake shet? Mall & Boo Boo have been Champions in TWO divisions, try again.
