I don't believe Yarde doesn't do any sparring. Tunde tries to be too clever for his own good, get a formula that will be sustainable at the top level.

The young power puncher had Sergey Kovalev backing up, holding on, and looking to survive.

Cliff Rold, dear... do you take ODLH and Canelo as some idiots in the game???...

... but, anyway, Yarde was completely exhausted with 30 seconds to go in the 8th round...

If the whole no/minimal sparring thing is working out for him skill development wise, then fair play for trying something different and getting results. The lung capacity will definitely need working on though. Even the biggest punchers in a particular division will need to go the distance occasionally - just ask Wilder and Golovkin - and an exhausted fighter is not likely to win rounds.

Sparring wasn't the issue ,going past round 7 was and a very bad plan to attack at full capacity After the round you've never been in . Makes me wonder what goes through the minds that are hired to win a fight for a fighter. lol

Sparring will help ,I actually went on watching him do Heavybag work and I still believe Yarde does win a rematch which Kovalev who will avoid that like the plague for obvious reasons.

He looked tired from about the 5th/6th to me even.
