American Boxing hasn’t shrunk. It’s in the same spot it’s always been. See, Bob Arum said y’all don’t understand the American Market. That was for a reason.
Other sports like Basketball and Football Have GROWN since the 90s. Vastly. To the point they overshadowed Boxing here; which is actually growing little by little. Football and Basketball are apart of the educational system in America and come with perks and benefits throughout our school lives. Boxing isn’t. Comprehension is key you nosy brit

I cant get it, also i cant get how Americans are so against it. It seems real value for money and its growing and its still early days. I hear there is room for improvement and a few things that need to be ironed out still. The way i see it is if it succeeds it succeeds if it fails it fails. The Boxers wont all retire they will continue Boxing so theres nothing to worry about either way.

But rather than let it runs its own course the impression i get is that a percentage of Americans are actually dead against it and hope for it to fail and some actively make efforts to sling mud at it at any given opportunity and i find it very strange.
