He was already reluctant to face Spence an Crawford as it is. So if he plans on going back to feasting off of C level fighters with no Spence Crawford or rematches w Danny or Porter in the near future he m hiight as well hang em up.
At his age he shouldn't be wasting time with mediocre opposition he should be doing them legacy fights.

This was your argument and not mine. You said why hasn’t thurman called out Crawford. Is Crawford lineal champ at welter? Is Crawford PPV attraction? What reasoning you suppose that Thurman should call out Crawford? This was your argument! And then your telling me I’m backwards? I can’t tell your that ****** or just trolling
Crawford is rated p4p number 1, that means he is rated as the best fighter in the world pound for pound, that includes welterweight since he is now the same amount of pounds as those welterweights.

Also, he is a three division champ and was undisputed champ at 140, the first undisputed champ in over ten years.

He is way more accomplished than Thurman.

That's why he should be calling Crawford out, there.

It's a fact? Lol, who are these fighters who didn't wana face him?

        Please name just one.

Coz I remember Spence calling him out since he was 15-0 already and Thurman making a ton of excuses.

I remember Porter and Garcia just dying to get into the ring with once and again both calling for rematches.

So please tell us the names of these guys who didn't wana fight Thurman?

Crawford is also mean to the body so I don't see Thurman surviving that either. Plus Crawford learns from other people's experiences you saw how he neutralized Horn's rough house tactics after he saw Horn's game against Pacquiao.

Everything good Thurman did against Pac will be taken away by TC and every weakness he showed fully exploited.

Plus, Spence and Crawford are just plain more talented and tougher than Keith.
Great analysis...very true! IMO, TC would finish Thurman via TKO, same as he would the following welters:
Pac, Garcia, Danny & Mikey, Spence & Porter.

that's an important component that probably corresponds to punch resistance but that's only one part of what being in your prime is about. There's also, strength, speed, reflexes, mental processing speed, etc.

Crawford at 32 is fractionally slower than he would have been at 27 or 28 - that is just the way the human body ages.

Somebody on here said they don't feel any different at 32 but the differences are felt at the extremes which is where you play when you're an elite athlete.

That's exactly right. Also he talked such a big game for all those years like he was going down with the all time greats so now has come the time for him to prove it.

Either he wants to be the best or he doesn't. All that get back year BS is over. He's 30 now.

Stop it. Thurman resume is wayyy better than Crawford resume. Is Thurman better than Crawford, probably not, but his resume is better.

How is Thurman's resume better? Please explain?

Is Thurman more accomplished than Crawford?

Is Thurman in the p4p top 10?

Has Thurman ever been undisputed champion?

Is Thurman a three division champion?

Ps. Crawford beat and stopped the man who beat Pac, same Pac who beat up and dominated Thurman.

Oh, and Horn fought a younger and fresher Pac compared to the one Thurman fought.
