Reminds me of the old Mathew Franklin vs Johnson fight

I don't think it was a fight of the year contender but at least it hyped up Canelo v Kovalev
There goes that exposed word again.

I enjoyed the hell out of it personally. Both guys had a real shot at it at certain points and the drama was real right until the end. Either guy was ready to collapse from exhaustion by the end.

Just a Buddy McGirt gameplan a lot of movement and jabbing
An earlier version of Krusher would just jump on yarde and get him out of there by the 5th or go down himself

Yes like in the Alvarez rematch, outboxing was the plan, but in the 8th the plans changed.

That said, I hate seeing how much slower and somehow less powerful he is now. I know every fighter has to age but in his prime, he was such a beast. I just hope he plays the rest of his career wisely because he can still hang. I just don't want him to take any weight concessions or cash out in any way.
His recovery had me jumping off the couch, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing! Was so happy to see Kov take the win.

Hard to judge on the power though, he seemed so hesitant for the first half of the fight, I don’t really recall him throwing much outside of the jab. And that jab still has a lot of mustard on it.

Same here. It was really crazy to see him gain a real second wind. Rounds 9 through 11 Kova was on fire.
