I am a huge Spence fan but don't be ridiculous. There are weight classes for a reason. Kovalev has never been knocked down a body punch from any light heavyweight. He is a killer puncher with a great left jab and he is a 27 pound bigger man. Sparring average cruiserweights in the gym with giant gloves is not the same at all as fighting the light heavyweight champ with the small gloves. Kovalev KOs little Spence. Not a fair fight and Spence would never agree to that fight.

Spence can't KO Kovalev but that's a BS version of Spence's fight with Mikey. Spence slaughtered Mikey. He was not on the back foot and almost chased Mikey out of the ring. Spence threw almost 1100 punches to less than 400 punches thrown by Mikey. He landed nearly 400 punches to 75 punches landed by Mikey. The fight was a wipeout and a shutout. Spence won every round by a mile. Mikey survived but the last ten guys Spence fought before Mikey were all knocked out. Mikey said Spence hit very hard.
