What a quality performance from Kovalev
Great jab and movement for a 36 year old & still has Krusher power. Yarde can’t afford to try & walk through & soak that kind of stuff up. Yarde absolutely threw the kitchen sink at him in round 8 and emptied the tank it seems, he probably couldn't believe Krusher was still standing after that barrage!

If kovalev wasn't on point he doesn't win this fight ,though he did have help from a very strange Yarde game paln. not sure what his team was thinking with attcking after round 7 when hes in enemy territory and never been past round 7? Just bizarre ,at least I wouldn't dare let my fighter glide through rounds 1/6 ,Kovalevs jab is good but theres no way Yarde could not have fought with more pressure .He could have won this fight and he knows he needed to hurt/stun kovalev in his own rounds which are the early ones. IDK..????

Kovalev showed why he is who he is! that invincibility Kovalev aura he once had in certain peoples eyes is gone but hes still the man in the division.Comment
