Yarde was basically a guy off the streets. He’s fought no one and has no amateur background. He’s barely a boxer.

I feel Kovalev got challenged by a guy at the bar. My how far he’s fallen.

Apparently he's doesn't spar and no roadwork. I find it hard to believe but those are the rumors. If so, he needs to get a new trainer.

I feel like he didn't do too badly, he won some rounds and was on the verge of scoring a stoppage in the 8th. He just fell short against a much more experienced, top level opponent.

If the sparring thing is true though, he needs to fix that pronto. When you haven't been beyond six in your career you need that hard sparring to build endurance. It's no wonder he was dead on his feet at the end.
