    You're easily impressed then.

He had stamina for literally 2 rounds, didn't throw any meaningful punches until round 8 and after round 9, he's using the shoulder roll but eats punches like candies, not to mention that it seems neither him or his trainer had any game plan other than land that one big shot.

Props for showing heart but other than that the guy isn't very good.

Yarde is physically talented and showed heart. If he had a decent trainer and some proper build up fights he could well have won this.

Instead, he has an idiot who believes fighters don't need to spar and has boxed feather-fisted no-hopers.

So the first time he gets stepped up he gets beaten up.

I said before the fight he was pretending to be a fighter. Tonight he found out what it's like to be in a real fight.

Pads don't hit back and Tunde isn't trying to hurt you. That training may be fun but you need more to be a pro boxer.

he impressed me too, losing 10 rounds and getting knocked out with a jab.

to be fair he did nearly have kov out of there and i expected him to get knocked out inside of 6.

He performed exactly as i anticipated. No fundamentals really, terrible conditioning and could not really get past Kovalev's jab. A couple of good rounds but still look lost to me. Kovalev has declined significantly, but still handled Yarde easily.

Exactly, his shoulder roll was ridiculous, he had no idea how to use it. No lateral either. Kind of like Eubanks Jnr.

Yarde Belongs in that Top 10 Range at 175 he needs to Lean Out all those Muscles and also mix up the shoulder roll, he uses the Shoulder Roll well but he cannot switch things up. Too much one punch at a time!

No he doesn't use the shoulder roll well, he uses it to try and look good. He's too square on and he doesn't punch well off the roll which is a big part of it.

He looked better when get got his hands up and actually blocked shots.

Used it well EARLY...however once he started getting tired and his reflexes slowed down yeah it did look really bad

but again it is about switch things up and giving different looks. If you just stay with the Shoulder Roll ultimately your opponent is going to figure out a way around it and the best way around it is the JAB something Mayweather was vulnerable to as well
