This is why that stoppage was disgraceful. Kov got hit with lowblows repeatedly and the ref jumped in and stopped it. Talking about that right hand from Ward who has a 40% KO ratio and that supposedly finished him lol. He didn't even go down. Kov just took flush shots repeatedly from a young guy with over a 90% KO ratio and a bigger guy than Ward...didn't go down and came back to dominate and stop his opponent.
Finally this narrative dies.

So I am a big Kovalev fan but I always took Foldalev as fair criticism. His body does not take a huge beating and hence, body shots and he folds over.

Quitalev? Hell no. He has never quit in a match.

Mentally gave up focus? Yes... in the Ward fight when he was get punched in the balls. Instead of fighting back dirty and giving Ward one right back he started to complain.

With Alvarez 1... He was ahead on the cards and in the match, he was simply knocked out and you have to give Alvarez credit.
