The promotion for this fight has been absolutely horrendous!

This is one of the most intriguing fights this year and this year has had a lot of awesome fights and upsets!

You got the proven, more experienced and favorably decorated champ in Kovalev fighting at home versus a young, hungry fighter who has a pinch of pure experience in boxing but shows glimpses of grand talent!

Either Kovalev adds to his HOF resume a undefeated younger, hungry and possibly stronger opponent or Yarde takes the scalp of a future hall of famer to become a rising star!

I’m picking the young man Yarde by KO!

I think he and his team knows what’s at the table, I see his athleticism and speed plus counter punching getting to Kov before he gets into big trouble by the Krusher!

    Can’t wait for this!

It's an intriguing fight for sure. The fact that it is in nowhere Russia makes it a weird hard sell at basically noon eastern on a Saturday . ESPN is doing their due diligence with the articles, not so much with the advertising. Think the time zone has a lot to do with it.

        - -Nowhere Russia is where Kov was born.

        Kid seems over matched.

All they had to do was paint Kov as the Criminal scumbag he is with him harassing women and having in the past making bigoted statements!

Focus on that and then Yarde’s personality has a laid back and confident young guy who’s aiming to risk it this early for his dream to be realized and then you have an easy fight to sell!

I also think Canelo trying to get to Kovalev also what hurt the promotions for this fight too!

Doesn’t matter now, both men seem ready and in fantastic shape!

Let’s all hope both warriors make it out the ring with their faculties and give us a awesome fight!

                    May the best man win!

Speed and power vs a guy who has major holes retracting his punches back slowly at times is going to win the fight for Yarde , he's going to follow Kov's jab back and boom with the right hand , he will not have an answer and will get beat with body shots as the fight moves on Kovalev will cave in and quit mentally by 10 th round or sooner from. The stronger athletic fighter wins here.
