DAZN is only one that cares about big fights

I’ve come to realize that DAZN is trying to be a boxing fan’s best friend.

I’ve been very critical of them this year, even saying I was going to cancel (I didn’t lol).

The cards have been crappy this year (everyone has been bad though) but seeing reports I’ve come to realize that they’re the only network/app working to make super fights. They’re overpaying fighters to make it happen, they’re willing to compete with networks on money and they want to allow us to watch for $10 a month.

They tried harder than anyone to make Wilder-Joshua, Canelo-Kovalev and GGG 3 are coming because of them, they’re pushing harder than anyone for Davis-Farmer, they made Hooker-Ramírez happen.

They clearly want super fights, they’re willing to pay outrageous rates to get them and they want us to watch for $100 a year. Not bad.

ESPN wants us to pay for cable and an app, plus PPV for boxing. ESPN hasn’t had many big fights either, it doesn’t seem like a big priority.

If you want to watch PBC fighters you need a fox/FSN/Showtime combination which means a cable bill plus an extra cable package and PPV. And every decent PBC fight is on PPV. The closest thing they’ve had to a big fight in recent memory is Wilder-Fury and it seems like too many of their fighters just defend a single title when mandatories are called.

I think I’ve become a DAZN fan boy.

I like DAZN. They don't cost much and they don't show endless adds like some others do. They show whole cards from the first prelim to the last fight. I would still get them if Canelo never fought there.

As a Canadian, DAZN's been a God send. We hardly get any Showtime or ESPN or FS1 fights, and most FOX fights have been on PPV.

Top Rank and Showtime are on TSN3 or 4 or something. Top Rank/ESPN at very least. I watched Yarde/Kova this afternoon on TSN3 , just signed up for it yesterday lol. But I agree, and it was so tucked away and as I don't really follow other sports never thought to investigate. I guess I was always looking at the wrong TSN# when I was trying to find the fights before.
