I like Gonzalez as far as boxing craft and fight style. He reminds me of Freddie Norwood at least with how he fights.

Unfortunately, he also seems to have copied Norwood's tendency to get frustrated and get clipped.

but tanakas body punching was bound to get him in the mid, latter rounds

i always, like tanaka's post fight intvws, always candid.
he says it was a piss poor performance...
his older brother is an olympic southpaw, helped him get ready for this
and if there's anything lacking from tanaka, was his exp with southpaws
let this be a lesson learned. he has all the tools, footwork, power
and the intelligent variety in his body work
