Things like this are EXACTLY why the Ali Act did not want "managers" getting into the promotional area. Its a conflict of interest. The manager is supposed to be unencumbered by any other financial interests, other than whats best for the fighter. Thats what a fiduciary duty is. But Haymon is now essentially a promoter, with network and advertising interests, and those interests dont always align with whats best for the fighter........
