Margertio VS. Rivera is this for real??

    http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=11677

I can't belive he's fighting another bum, he keeps saying everyone is ducking him, I guess all the bums are not ducking him.

Rivera was KTFO by Judah in 3 rounds, give me a break.

Margerito either want's a big pay day with PBF or fight his normal bums.

He doesn't want any part of guys like Collazo, Quintana, Williams, Spinks, Ouma, Karma, Zab or Matisa.

I knew he's gonna fight another bum, he needs to beat someone before acting like he deserves a fight with PBF.

I guess it's OK for Margerito to fight Rivera.

Exactly, he's the real ducker himself, not Floyd!

Maybe he got depressed from people in this forum saying that he is a bum and does not deserve PBF

Everybody is talking about Mayweather handpicking his opponent will he deserve it and the guy to beat. Most fighters want Mayweather than Mayweather really wants them.

for Baldy it good to call out Mayweather i know its not the best thing but at least he could have a big pay day. anyways he was going to retire after Judahs fight but thing worked out well

Well the date given there dosent even gel with the date (Dec 2) that arum announced on B-talk.Heres the most recent interview I had seen regarding Margaritos next opponent, dated jul 19th.(When his next fight was still supposed to be in october)

I had to translate from Spanish to english.

WBO welterweight champ, mexican Antonio Margarito, already knows his next fight will be the 7th of october, but his opponent is still unknown. In the meantime he confirmed that there exists an offer to move up to 154 pounds and face Winky Wright (50-3-1 with 25 KOs).
"They offered one million and a half and Im willing to fight him or whoever” he added: “let them offer a little more money, considering I would make more money fighting Floyd at welter.”
Margarito did not want to speak further about his possible matchup with floyd although he insists that floyd does not want to fight him. He made it clear that he has no problem moving up and wondered why he hadn’t been offered a fight against De la Hoya or mosley .
“There were talks before the Vargas fight, he (Mosley) said that he still wasn’t ready for antonio Margarito, but it looks like now he might be willing to fight”- he said.
The best possible option for margarito seems to be, WBA champ José Antonio 'El Gallo' Rivera (37-4-1, 24 Kos),seemingly Riveras team aspires to make this happen.
“Im willing to move up to fight him on 7th de of October @ 154 pounds. It would be a great war and an attractive fight for the fans, besides I still have a thorn in my spine .Already one puertorican (Kermit Cintrón) payed for it and now its time to finish it with 'Gallo” Rivera”, finished margarito.

Tony needs to move on already, if he's got an offer with Winky, he should jump at it, that's 100x more exposure than Arum has given him so far. Even with a loss, a strong performance would open many doors for him. Fighting Rivera does nothing for his resume, and that is Tony's Achille's heel right now, he has no big names to his credit. Calling out DLH is ridiculous, no way Oscar wastes a PPV fight on him. Mosley would be an excellent fight for Tony as well, if he's willing to do 80/20 (or whatever the supposed numbers were) with Floyd, there's no reason he can't do the same for Mosley or Winky. They're the ones who are going fill the seats and get the PPV buys.
