That is true. 99 out of 100 refs would have waved the fight off. There are thousands of examples. I can't think of one time in history when a guy is on his back and out, and the ref then kneels down next to him and starts yelling the count?
Wilder was robbed of a KO much more than Fury was robbed of a points win. Not that it matters much, but punch stats were pretty close in favor of Fury, but Wilder landed the harder cleaner shots. Not a big fan of either guy.Comment

thats true a punch from any man can knockout anyone thrown on the right spot but fury would need a ton of luck to pull that off.deontay just has constant power and I believe he figured out fury awkwardness and will not wait till the 12th round to knock him out it will be alot sooner this time.Cumulative punching. I don't want to say that Fury consistently backed Wilder up but he definitely caused him to reset multiple times.
Ruiz doesn't have much power but he caught AJ just right on top of the head and concussed him. That's nothing that Fury couldn't do to Wilder if Wilder gets sloppy.
I'm still seeing the odds in Wilder's favour again. Fury has to be immaculate for 12 rounds and only a very few elite boxers achieve that.Comment

Tyson Fury knows deep down that he was knocked out by Deontay Wilder, under these modern rules 'And this has put some serious fear into him'
'But if this fight was happening under boxing rules from 100 years ago? Nobody would of been complaining over the referee' Tyson Fury got to his feet and finished the round fairly strong etc.Comment

Excellent point. Deontay refused to loose on the scores, he did not need the help of Jack Reiss to accomplish that. That is true. 99 out of 100 refs would have waved the fight off. The referee did want a Meldrick Taylor repeat, he did the right thing.
I know many fans of Wilder would like the fight to have gone differently but it didn't. A draw was correct. Maybe next time.

I'm sure everyone is fearful of a KO at heavyweight. I'm also sure everyone is fearful that Fury will make them look ******. It's a good stylistic matchup.
