I don't even think AJ thinks it's a lucky punch - he strikes me as someone that says one thing in public and thinks completely different when the cameras aren't rolling.
I agree with you. It’s more his fan base that’s been echoing it being a lucky punch. Ruiz hit Joshua with a fast hard combo. Type of combos he’s been throwing his whole career.

I gave Joshua one round for the fight, which was either the second or the fifth (don’t remember) but yeah, Ruiz has his number.

Lol completely different scenario Wilders 'Loyalty' had him turning down a $100 mil and fighting Breazealle on showtime for less than the $20 mil DAZN offered as Finkel said he'd make up for it at a later date.

A new trainer might be able to improve AJ he might not but Wilder, according to Finkel, definitely fought for less money due to loyalty aka Haymon's puppeteering.

All McCracken is gonna do is help you get you jaw McCracked in the future if you don't dump him. He obviously had Carl Froch in good physical shape. He obviously gets you in good physical shape. But as far as boxing, he can't really teach what he doesn't know. He was a very limited fighter, himself. You need more than what he can teach, period

It won't make any difference period what Joshy does because he's soft simple and plain. He's already small minded regardless.🥊

Joshua is going to fight for significantly less money when Ruiz KO’s him again.

Then again, I was also the one sticking up for McCracken in the fight thread since Joshua ignored basically every instruction he was given between rounds. So who knows?

I just hate multifight deals/options to get a fight done. It’s been getting worse every year.

I think this is one of the things that I agree with Lewis on and the only thing that I can say wasn’t hating from Lewis, a new trainer would do Joshua a world of good. Joshua might think he doesn’t need it but he would soon find out that in boxing there is NO loyalty.

I imagine Joshua believes that if he doesn't step in to finish off Ruiz, then Ruiz never lands the shot that turns the fight. He might be right.

Beyond that, if Joshua loses again, he'll sack McCracken.
