1. He’s inactive because no significant fighter is being matched-up against him other than rematches with Palicte and Ioka which he doesn’t need at this stage of his career. Hence, vacated his belt which answers your #2.

3. He’s a pound for pound material. Some pundits put him in there. Estrada is a pound for pound, if he wants to solidify his spot, no one better than beating Nietes to do it. Not some extra belts which doesn’t mean as much.

I agree... But I think he is in a league better than a titleholder now... Estrada needs him more than unifications now, yes...
