He did and if boxing doesn't fix their corrupt or incompetent judging all the new fans they made on free TV will lose interest in the sport. Almost everyone I know who WAS a fan of boxing has given up on the sport because of incompetent or corrupt judging. They can't stand it and the crooked judges and sometimes refs really taint such a wonderful sport.

A-side Ruiz can walk through AJ's power, but AJ is a normal hard puncher, Deontay's power is five times harder. Think what you want of him as a boxer, and yeah Fury did beat him 116-110 or 115-111, but his power is unreal. I also think that Deontay has way more qualities that never get talked about.
He is not a skilled boxer, BUT - He is fast, agile, awkward, reacts well to be buzzed/hurt, better defence than given credit for, and has amazing self-belief. Those are massive qualities for a fighter to have. Wilder KO. Not sure when.Comment

Personally, I think Wilder's power is overrated. I think people have ante up the way they overrate Wilder's power due to how he sparked out Breazeale. But Breazeale came forward with his guard down and chin up and any boxer with power would've put him to sleep that night. The guy just literally walked into the punch begging to be KTFO with his chin up in the air.
Fury is very chinny and he took Wilder's best punches and got up. I believe Ruiz has granite chin and in any exchange with Wilder, he'll get Wilder out of there pretty easily if he can hit him Wilder clean. And hitting Wilder clean once he starts swinging is the easiest thing to do.Comment
