Yarde can only win by KO

Yarde can't get a decision in Russia...

Surely Kovalev's gameplan will be to pure-box and fight cautious, at range. If so, I have no idea how Yarde will be able to work his way inside, where he needs to be.

Can anyone break it down for me, how is Yarde gonna be able to get the KO??

Yarde just landed in Russia, and they've lost his luggage... and so it begins

I guess he can land a left hook? His best punch. I don’t think he has the power to change the fight with one punch though, Kovalev has a decent chin when not nackered. He’s going to have to somehow hang with Kovalev for awhile to get that stoppage.

yarde is not some master boxer he can't outbox kovalev. kovalev out boxed ward he's much more skilled than yarde. it's much more likely that yarde gets knocked out!

his best chance is to trt to get in close and land some big body shots. dont think it happens tho, too much of a step up in class for yarde.

Hanging in there with Kovalev, waiting for him to tire, into the later rounds... I can imagine Yarde getting desperate if it comes to that.

Kovalev handled Ward pretty well for the most part, good point. I mean, Tunde was saying Yarde has a better skill-set than Ward, but nobody really believes that do they!? I think Kov is just going to box his head off

The key word here is 'try'. I can't figure out what kind of gameplan Yarde could possibly execute to get inside, and to get those body-shots off

He gets the KO by hitting Kovalev on the head and jaw hard and often until Kovalev goes down and is counted out. That is if he has the skills to do this but I doubt he does. More likely he goes at Kovalev hard and runs into bombs and gets KOed by Kovalev. I think Kovalev is better and would win even if the fight was in the UK.

Yarde can only win by KO not because of the scorecards, but because he cant outbox kovalev and even if he could, his gas tank would not allow it...
