Apart from Ward, he's only lost to Alvarez. He dominated their rematch, after many said he's been done. Yarde might have his moments, but Kovalev will stop him in a similar fashion as Cleverly. Fighting nobodies doesn't help him here.

Kovalev had a good showing in his last fight with Alvarez. I wouldn't count him out so soon. My money is on Kovalev in this fight form what I've seen from both fighters.

The Yarde who never fought anybody and isn't even sparring for this fight? No, I don't think so.....

I'll be impressed if Yarde beats the brakes off of Kovalev. Can't see it happening though..

I think this fight boils down to who has the best among the worst gas tank..
Kovalev has proved his tank fades, Yarde hasn't proven his yet so it's a real 50-50 imo..
Trade doesn't have the resume so can't back him to pull this off so I'd go with Kovalev by SD or late KO

Agreed. I think if you judge Kov off his last fight, Yarde won’t last to hear the final bell.
I like Yarde but I do think that him and his trainer are in a bubble and somewhat delusional.
Kovalev with all his flaws outside the ring is still world class. He’s a world class elite boxer first. The punching power is the vodka icing on the cake. And perhaps a disservice to him at the championship level. His last fight he got back to the fundamentals.

Yarde May have some great moments in the fight but if Kov shows up for his home crowd, he’s going to slowly tear Yarde apart mentally.

This fight will be won by experience and mental stamina. Kov has demonstrated both in many of his fights despite his recent shortcomings.

Kov by mid fight stoppage. Trainer or cold blooded knockout.

Yarde has not shown me anything that makes me think he can handle Kovalev, who still looked good in his last fight.

                Krusher by stoppage.

Kovalev is at least 2-3 levels above Yarde, even in his current form.

Oh, but Yarde has some muscles and is black...so he must be the favorite.

Based on what? Never having fought a decent fighter before? Not good enough.
