Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury Warns: If Yarde Can't Beat Kovalev, His Career is Over!

Top heavyweight Tyson Fury is fully supporting unbeaten light heavyweight contender Anthony Yarde, who on Saturday night will challenge WBO world champion Sergey Kovalev, before a very hostile crowd in Russia.

Tyson Fury is nuts. Why would a loss to Kovalev end Yarde's career? A good showing even in defeat would boost his career. Yarde has never fought anyone even remotely resembling a contender. There is too much emphasis on undefeated records. Losses can help your career more than meaningless wins.

      Not at all!

Yarde has only had 18 pro fights and 12 amateur fights.

He's very talented to reach this level and he's only going to get better.

        Fury should take some pointers
        Maybe fight a live body
        Then comment on others

Tyson Fury used to provide interesting insights at times. Now he gets a camera in front of him and does what Bhop does. Talks a whole load of crapola trying to be interesting.

Idk about that. A L at an away location to a guy who's probably borderline HOF worst case isn't the end of a young guy in his first big step up fight. If Yarde loses here its a completely forgivable L, don't know wtf Fury is suggesting here. Feels like he's not so humble bragging on his own ability in away games than talking about Yarde's future.

I agree. This comment about Yarde is ridiculous. Fury wants his name in the news but he should talk sense and not some B.S. "If Yarde can't beat Kovalev, his career is over". Sounds like Fury fell off the wagon again!

Fury giving an insight into how he thinks "If I fight anyone good, I could lose and my career is over. Find me bums!"
