After fighting GGG twice and beating him, yes it is valid.

Is Alvarez's "I don't like him" a valid reason for not fighting somebody?

It’s not a duck, considering he already fought the man twice, when people claimed he wouldn’t EVER fight him. And also considering people said GGG was old in the first fight, and 2 years have passed since then, Canelo would get zero credit for fighting him.

I read comments where fans will say how this fighter ducked another fighter, with zero evidence, and here we have Alvarez admitting he don't want to fight Golovkin and fans say it's no duck.
Maybe not, but if that's the case the only time you could call a fighter avoiding another guy a duck, would be if that fighter comes right out and says,"I want to make this crystal clear, I've decided to duck Mr.X"
It’s like saying I ducked going to work last week when I showed up every day.

You say Horn robbed Manny yet don't want a rematch and think the score is settled, then SECONDS LATER you're arguing for a Golovkin to get a rematch because the score isn't settled despite people saying he got robbed.
Do you not listen to yourself and how you sound? You're a prime hater in the finest sense.

GGG-canelo 1 was a draw and, as champion, GGG gave canelo a rematch. canelo got the nod in the second fight (fair or not) and it was canelo who, unlike GGG, didn't give the last one a rematch.

Canelo and Oscar refuse to fight GGG outside of Vegas because they are not confident of victory in a neutral city. Canelo won't ever fight GGG outside of Vegas for fear of losing and any other reason is just a BS excuse. Canelo's get a belt and then I'll fight you is just more BS. GGG will probably be the IBF world middleweight champion on October 5th. Canelo will still never fight GGG.

What is the definition of a duck?
