Ref jumps in and stops it in the 3rd, turned into an incredibly sloppy but entertaining slugfest that rd. Navarrete must have thrown over 100 punches in 1:45 that rd

I want to see De Vaca vs Carlos Castro in the battle of PHX! I'd be at that fight for sure

For a tall guy with long arms Navarrette fights really well on the inside.

Devastating when he gets leverage on his shots.

As I've said before, Navarrete is the best fighter at this weight. Already going to be back in a month apparently, opponent won't be any good I'd think. It's too bad he's on the wrong side of the fence, I'd love to see him whip the **** out of Rey Vargas in a unification

Comments Thread For: Emanuel Navarrete Drops, Stops Francisco De Vaca in Third

By Jake Donovan - Emanuel Navarrete continues to plead his case as the worst kind of threat in the loaded super bantamweight division. The rangy volume puncher from Mexico City registered the second defense of his 122-pound title after stopping unbeaten Phoenix (Az.)-based countryman Francisco de Vaca...

Navarrete is like a Santa Cruz with power.

Stevenson is a brick wall in Navarette's potential success at 126.
