I'm still wondering why Fury never committed in that fight because if he had a bit of power and had shown more commitment - there were different spots in that fight he could've sparked Wilder out clean. The fight should've ended before the 9th rd, tbh.
Wilder is god awful and every time I watch that Fury fight (and even the Ortiz fight to an extent), I see why he has been protected throughout his career. This guy hasn't fought a decent puncher in 44 fights (let that sink in). The Wlad that AJ fought would've cleaned him out in 3 rds max. And I doubt he would've lasted 7rds against Povetkin.
Fury definitely dropped the ball in that fight because he was getting a lot of clean 1-2s throughout the fight. All he needed was a bit more commitment and more sting in his punch - and the chinny Wilder would've been on the canvas.
