agreed regarding the Dempsey vs Willard comparison as far as how the fight played out

that fight was much closer according to the odds tho 6-5 in favor of williard, 30-1 for joshua

I think boxing is missing out big time by not promoting more fights in Chicago.

It's the 3rd most populous city in America. With sizeable Mexican and Polish populations.

I don't know if Illinois taxes are high or if the promoters are being shortsighted or what. But it seems like a no brainer to hold fight cards there.

Except for Joshua is no Lennox Lewis, as we all know Joshie said he was cut from charmin cloth.

I think Stephen Edwards is a magnificent trainer. AJ would be blessed to be trained by him imo.

Breadman spot on, as usual, especially about AJ. He can't fight Ruiz on the inside. Ruiz is an average fighter, imo, but he has fast hands and a great chin/recuperative powers. AJ needs to stay on the outside with the jab, 1-2 and 1-2-3. Break Ruiz down and don't get involved in reckless exchanges. He might not stop Ruiz, and I'm not saying it will be easy or that Ruiz won't get through at times, but he can outpoint him this way. FIGHT SMART, AJ. Surely his trainer McCracken must know this?

Stick to xbox, your comments are hollow. Not trying hurt your feelings but they're crap.

Woah...a Philly trainer in Breadman calling a Philly fighter in Ennis the best WW prospect what a shock, LOL. Truth be told Ennis might be the best prospect in the sport simply b/c I consider Vergil a legit contender @ the 147 lbs division after the brutal KO’s of Herrera & Orozco. While, Ennis has yet to fight anyone near the caliber of both those guys Vergil already KO’d @ 21 yrs old. Anyhow, both have a bright future but Vergil to me will take the reigns from Canelo as the future face of boxing. If there one thing both die hards and casuals fans love is KO’s and Vergil has shown he can deliver them.
