Sadly Peter Fury's dementia has caught on, boxrec ranks Alexander Povetkin #5. TBRB, ESPN also classify Povetkin in their top ten. A win for Hughie over Sasha means hes validated as a contender.

hughie's career seems to be a repeat trend. fight weak opposition get a fight at world level , lose drop back to low level win movd up to world level and lose.

after pulev he should have gone back to domestic level and work his way up to world level slowly. tgere doesnt seem to be any middle ground with him

Not sure what theyre thinking here except he can start over because his age ? Maybe get a questionable decision in a ugly fight of clinching ,but is he strong enough for Povetkin? Fury's are good conn men as well ,we'll see.

i don't get it either, i can only think they are banking on father time catching up with povetkin . he had a nightmare against pulev and i see povetkin as a tougher task than him .
