Kirkland still has plenty left in the tank. He's a beast. He hasn't been consistent in his career and that caught up to him in the Canelo fight. He is a great fighter and needs to give this run his all. He can win a title if he will give this run his focus and not let anything distract him. He has always been good enough to be champ. He just needs to stay on track and stay dedicated. He will beat this guy. After that he needs to remain dedicated committed and focused in between fights.

Unless Anne Wolfe trains him, I have serious doubts. He ditched her several times because he said she worked him too hard in training. He's kind of a loose cannon, gun charges, lack of dedication in important fights. IMO the only reason he's back is he needs some cashish. We'll see. The next year will speak volumes.

He has been his own worst enemy but he's 35 now. He's more mature at this age than in those younger years. He does have to show he really wants to make this run. The window isn't closed yet so I'm not gonna write him off. He still has something to prove to himself.
